After our road trip across Ireland we stepped over to Scotland with destination Inverness. After a day in Glasgow (which was a nice discovery of a town being in a metamorphosis from an abandoned center of industry to a contemporary city, maintaining the impressive architectures from former times of Great Britain’s glory) we finally reached Inverness. We visited Urquhart Castle and the left for one night in Edinburgh. To our surprise the city was full of life due to the annual Edinburg festival. So we have been entertained over our expectations.
